Frida is native to northern Sweden but has lived in Washington state since 2000, her homelife is busy with 3 children, husband, 2 dogs, a few goats and pigs. You’ll find her most weekends face painting at various Festivals in the area.
Frida Haas started her face painting journey in 2014 after volunteering for a school fundraiser. She describes the moment at Alice falling into the rabbit hole when she discovered the magical world of face painting.
Frida Haas taught for the International Face Painting School Summit, at FABAIC in Orlando Fl, the Ace Convention in Austin TX, and twice at MAX in St Louis. She is also a regular instructor online for FacePaint.com as well as other online forums.
She won first place at the MAX body painting competitions in 2024 and 2025. In addition to face and body painting, Frida is also an accomplished acrylic artist. She has competed several times with Art Battle International and holds the PNW Regional Championship title in speed painting for 2023 and 2024.
