Meet Gert, a passionate Dutch bodypainting artist with over 36 years of experience and around 900 unique creations under his belt. Trained in makeup artistry, Gert not only paints but also captures his own work behind the lens. He loves judging competitions, such as the World Bodypainting Festival 2024, and giving back to the art form that defined his life.
Together with his wife, Marjon, and friends, he launched The Bodypaint Gathering in 2018, followed by the European Open Body Art Contest. Through workshops and personal mentoring, Gert shares his intuitive painting style with others. For him, bodypainting isn't about rigid plans, it’s about creative flow, shared passion, connecting with models, and celebrating the vibrant bodypaint community.
